Where’s the restroom, please?

We’ve all gone into restaurants with cute restrooms signs that say things like “chicas” and “chicos” or have pictures of men’s and women’s shoes or other gender-specific item to guide you into the right door. One of my favorites is at Due Amici in Downtown Columbus…ask for the restroom and you’ll be pointed down to the cellar, where you’ll walk down a stone hallway, still unsure that you’re in the right place…

Then you see the mirrors. I’ve been there many times, and each time I’m still sort of thrilled when I see the reflections of the large glossy magazine models, first men then women. If you’ve read some of my other posts, by now you know I’m fascinated with public restrooms. But you too would think this was really cool.

By the way, the food at Due Amici is fabulous- stop in for drinks, appetizers and a peak at the restroom signs if you’re ever in Columbus!

Hotdogs and Wallpaper at Dirty Frank’s

Dirty Frank’s is a Columbus local hot dog joint (that serves vegetarian versions of everything on the menu!) with a cool  interior, down to the “custom” wallpaper in the bathroom. dirtyfrankscolumbus.com/
